I have over twelve years of counseling experience with individuals, couples, families, and facilitating process groups. I am degreed with a PsyD in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, an MA in Clinical Psychology, and a BA in psychology. I love having the opportunity to assist people with learning how to affirm themselves with self-acceptance, value, and worth. I help clients to learn how to take control over their lives, by releasing embarrassment, shame, and/or guilt due to toxic, chaotic, and traumatic environments.
I allow my clients to set their goals for the change that they want for themselves. I provide thoughts, and how to accomplish their goals. I use my therapeutic skills and empathy to partner with my clients to set healthy goals to for mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.
As a therapist, I am committed to helping individuals to become their best selves. Providing space for grace, self-love, value, and worth for self. I do this by implementing active listening, reflection statements, affirming and attuning statements to mirror client’s feelings.
