Do you feel disconnected & detached? Are you struggling to find peace & security with yourself or in your relationships? Our minds & bodies are interdependent- so reliant on one another that they often try to protect themselves by splitting apart or shutting down. It can be so tempting to numb ourselves to pain, loss, or stress to try to minimize their impact. Inevitably, we numb the good along with the bad. This mind-body disconnection tends to reveal itself most during major life transitions & often coincides with trauma, eating disorders, anxiety or depression. You may be in the midst of one (or several) of the above.
I specialize in the body, sex, & relationship dynamics. Navigating disordered eating or exercise, identifying & understanding patterns in romantic or platonic relationships, shifting from monogamy into other partnership structures, or working to better understand your own sexuality & desires can help move you toward a stronger sense of embodiment.
Whether you have a specific goal in mind, need blanket support, or seek to learn & practice new skills, I can incorporate interventions from a variety of modalities. My practice is person-centered above all, which means it is anti-capitalist & liberationist. I do my best to center & celebrate fat bodies, LGBTQIA+ bodies, disabled bodies, & BIPOC bodies.
