Allow Me to Introduce Myself, My name Ta Mara P. Williams, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Entrepreneur, CEO/ Boss Lady, and Owner of Ta Mara’s Promise. I didn’t start my life with all of these titles. I had to work hard for each one of them. Through every challenge, every stumbling block, and every failure I learned to survive in"the struggle." Having a firsthand understanding that life is not always “rainbows and sunshine", but there are storms that can knock you to your knees. I believe It is my job as a therapist to help you see the light in the midst of your darkness.
Working in mental health field is a sacred act of trust between two people. I believe receiving counseling is the ultimate act of humility. A person allows themselves to be vulnerable and expose their lifelong conundrums that have weighed them down for years. Come to Ta Mara's Promise, LLC where the therapists provide innovative and creative ways in which evidence based treatments are implemented. Come learn to believe in yourself again, through the celebration of small accomplishments achieved before complete sobriety. Tamara's Promise, LLC works with people who have chronically relapsed but still continue to want recovery.
