I draw from a strong academic and clinical background combined with personal life experiences to provide life changing interventions. I have a PhD in psychology, two master's degrees and am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have considerable experience with children, adolescents and adults in diverse settings, i.e., mental health centers, U.S. military behavioral health centers, public school systems, wilderness programs, therapeutic boarding schools, and private practice. I gained much of my specialized experience with couples while employed by the US Army in Germany and recently completed the advanced training for certification as an Emotionally Focused Couple Therapist.
I work with individuals, couples and families to restore, strengthen, and maintain secure and safe relationships essential for continuous individual and interpersonal growth, development, and happiness. My practice emphasizes work with distressed marital relationships, distrust/infidelity, parenting, adolescent issues, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive tendencies, PTSD, substance abuse, pornography and other addictions.
I am a professional who believes in living life to its fullest and applying an "abundance mentality" to maximize a lifetime of continued personal growth and development in self and others.
