Hello, I am Divya Gupta-Torres. As a clinician, I have worked in a variety of settings including, inpatient psychiatric units as well as a wide range of outpatient mental health services that provided individual, family, couples, and group counseling using a wide range of modalities. In addition, I have an extensive amount of experience working with individuals and families facing the unique challenges of substance abuse. Some of the settings in which I have addressed these challenges are inpatient substance abuse treatment crisis intervention services Intensive Outpatient Programs and Methadone clinics.
I used a wide range of treatment modalities in these settings. My diverse cultural background allows me to understand and guide my clients with empathy, active listening, patience, and validation.
Through this collaborative process, my clients develop the strength, hope and perseverance to take the small steps to create inner peace and live the life they strive to live.
