I am a compassionate, down to earth person offering therapy to individuals. It is my belief that healing comes from within you, and within the context of a relationship. I specialize in working with the effects of trauma on people's lives, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, relational troubles. I practice using Somatic Experiencing (certified SEP through Somatic Experiencing International), EMDR (EMDR trained via EMDRIA) and use Internal Family Systems lenses to help clients find calmness, wholeness, emotional resilience, and renewed connection to themselves, and to people in their lives.

My specialty also includes working with people using Emotionally Focused Therapy to help them find different ways to express their feelings and needs to their partners and create a sense of safety and closeness in all their relationships.

I believe that a significant part of what is healing about therapy is the trusting relationship. I aim at helping people feel supported as they make changes and stress personal responsibility by encouraging them to take a compassionate and honest look at themselves.
