My name is Sylvia Sessions-Stogner and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Tylertown, MS and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and specialize in anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues, and depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other therapy approaches. My goal is to earning your trust and seeing my clients make progress and feel better about themselves. I have worked in this field for 30+ years in private practice and in various other areas including adoption, court system, school system, and child protection.
I have found that my study and approach works well with teens, young people, individuals, and families yet I am comfortable working with the elderly community. My experience is varied in so many areas. I am looking to work with anyone who is looking to better understand themselves and unlock their potential.
My approach to goal setting with clients is working together to define what you want to accomplish in our time together. This includes building trust between us and getting comfortable being in telehealth therapy. We will set the goals and then track your progress.
