Hi, I am Sylvia. I have an MSW degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have worked as a therapist for over twenty years. I am fascinated by people and am deeply gratified when I can assist some one to identify, work through, and resolve the issues most important to them in their life. I have always worked with adults and the areas I can best assist and support people include: stress, anxiety, depression, trauma resolution, substance use/abuse (personal and relational), aging (personal and familial). I am trained in multiple professional interventions that focus on each
individual person's strengths and abilities, increasing resiliency, resolving past trauma, and supporting desired change in both thought and behavior patterns. But you want to know who I am personally, right? I am an avid reader, sports fan, and movie buff. I attempt one insane crochet project after another. I love to garden, until it get really hot in the
summer. I love to cook, but not clean up the kitchen when I am done. I adore puns and really enjoy trying to figure out intellectual challenges. I have a wonderful husband, daughter, and the cutest grand-dog in the world. It is a great pleasure to be able to work with and learn from people each day. I look forward to meting you.
