I love helping adults who are ready to make a change and want to address: trauma, relationship difficulties, issues with food and body image, chronic stress, anxiety, panic, or depression through building tangible tools and mindfulness-based skills. I welcome clients of diverse backgrounds and seek to provide respectful and culturally sensitive services to all. As an immigrant myself, I have a special appreciation for the experience of first and second generation immigrants. My approach draws from mindfulness, body-oriented interventions, parts work, evidence-based modalities, advances in neuroscience, and attachment research.
The therapy process, as I see it, works best when it is collaborative and supportive. Our work together will call for a very dynamic effort on both of our parts. In session, I am active and engaged with clients and ask that clients practice the skills we develop together between sessions to integrate positive change into their lives.
I am currently offering video therapy. Please feel free to email me or go to my website to set up a complimentary phone consultation. I am looking forward to connecting with you.
