Clients want to be heard and validated. Clients want to feel their experiences and feelings are acknowledged and not judged for thoughts and behaviors they do not know how to manage. So often the view of therapy is someone telling someone what to do with their life, when the therapeutic space should be a collaborative space that helps a client identify their strengths and how they can become the narrators of their lives again.
I strive to create an environment of self-exploration that is nurturing and safe. My focus is providing clients a space to discover they have the capability to manage their mental health through introspection and reflection. It's important to provide services that not only teach but also help clients acknowledge their power and ability to overcome obstacles.
Society reinforces the notion that we must work through life alone, when so much of this life should be explored together in a safe space. When you are in need of it, please feel free to contact me.
