I believe that in a person's journey, growth is about guidance - seeing yourself through a different lens. That can be found spiritually, through self-help, individual therapy, etc. I believe the growth starts within the person, and therapy is the assistance that guides you to the higher sense of awareness. That higher sense of awareness allows you to achieve higher goals.
Therapy is a holistic approach. It's not just one modality or one teaching. It's not unilateral, but multi-faceted. This approach is based on my belief that our mind, body, and soul are all connected. I believe that's my talent and my purpose.
I am committed to walking clients through life's events they experience through techniques that fit the individual, versus the individual fitting the technique. This allows me to counsel a diverse population. Techniques utilized are CT, diversion techniques, self-monitoring, stimulus control, increased sensation awareness, all with a reality focus.
