I specialize in therapy for adult children of immigrants navigating guilt, people-pleasing, family pressure, anxiety, and identity conflict. Whether you're dealing with high-functioning anxiety, cultural identity stress, or a major life transition, you don't have to keep doing this alone.
Our work is a partnership. You set the pace. I combine EMDR (an evidence based method for processing old trauma your body still holds onto), DBT, and culturally informed therapy to help you understand the patterns shaped by your family and culture, and build real skills for anxiety, boundaries, and navigating change.
I'm Swetha, a LPC and child of immigrants raised between India and Pennsylvania. I understand this experience from the inside. You won't spend our sessions explaining your family dynamics from scratch. Whether we're processing experiences that feel heavy or working on skill building, I want you to leave each session feeling like you've gained something.
