About
With a background in sexual health education, medical social work and experience as a full spectrum doula, Svea understands the importance of person-centered care across multiple systems. Svea has worked as a therapist with people of all ages, with a speciality in adolescents and young adults. Svea aims to incorporate culturally sensitive techniques into a multimodal approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based therapy, and CBT, to name a few. Svea utilizes her experience in a diverse array of settings to work towards the unique therapeutic goals of each individual.
Svea’s previous experience includes working at Planned Parenthood, NYC Health+Hospitals, and various community-based organizations. Our team of therapists & psychiatrists are leading minds in mental health. There is no one size fits all plan. Our experts in therapy and medication management want to help you find the treatment plan that works for you.
In today’s fast paced world people are discovering that online healthcare is accessible, convenient and affordable. At the same time, they have concerns about confidentiality, quality, continuity of care, restrictions on problems addressed and limits on treatment choices, such as types of medication. Tell us what you want and how we are doing.
