Many people feel that difficult or painful experiences have the power to define them, or that it may have damaged them permanently. I aim to help my clients recognize that difficult situations will not ‘destroy’ or ‘define’ them, and instead help them regain some control in deciding who they are and the path they want to take. I believe in utilizing therapy to help my clients recognize their own personal story and growth. I provide support and tools for my clients to use along the way, drawing from a wide toolbox of therapy approaches, including EMDR.
I specialize in working with folks who have experienced trauma, and I enjoy helping people to utilize their own internal resources (such as tuning into mindfulness, or using their imagination) to support healing. I also specialize in neurodivergence, and enjoy supporting neurodivergent clients in discovering and meeting their individual and unique needs.
If you are looking for ways to build a healthier relationship with your self, whether that be noticing and meeting your unique needs, healing from past trauma, or an intersection of both, please reach out!
