Children's behavior sends a message and the way to help is to understand and address the needs underlying that behavior. Many children have strong emotions and having parents who accept, help them express and regulate those emotions can make a major difference for the whole family.
I love working with children and supporting them with issues such as anxiety, self confidence, divorce, school and social issues, depression, loss, and family relationships. My work utilizes an attachment-based, emotion-focused approach. I teach both parents and children tools that focus on connection, processing feelings, and learning new ways of thinking.
