I approach counseling as a shared experience focusing on building a trusting relationship with my clients and opening doors to greater self-reflection, insight and empowerment. Some methods of treatment that I use include CBT which can help change unhealthy thought patterns, emotions and behaviors. I teach mind-body strategies for managing anxiety, stress and insomnia and to assist with enhancing self-awareness. I use a person-centered approach, taking into consideration every individuals subjective experience of their struggles.
During therapy, I strive to create a spirit of acceptance, honesty and openness. Whether you are struggling with a specific problem or just desire to live a happier and more meaningful life, I will work with you to help you achieve your goals.
