I'm Suzie (she, her, hers). I am a licensed psychotherapist (AZ and OH), with an education from the University of Arizona, the University of Cambridge, and Boston University School of Social Work, where I have also taught clinical skills to graduate students in the MSW program.

I often use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in either weekly or Intensive formats (6-12 hours over just 1-2 weeks). With EMDR, we are able to address autonomic nervous system dysregulation very adeptly. When we employ Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) we are focusing heavily on the neuroscience of trauma, working with your deep brain. DBR is gentle yet powerful and effective.
