Thank you for checking out my profile. I primarily work with adults and adolescents, but occasionally work with children. My focus is on addictions, mood disorders, or personality disorders. Because of the high rate of trauma with addictions and personality disorders, I offer trauma informed care and best practices to all of my clients. For over 10 years I have run an adolescent Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) group for adolescents and young adults who self harm or have self destructive behaviors. Finally, I offer crisis and health and wellness seminars to local businesses in need.
I integrate mindfulness into my practice with most clients, no matter what challenges they are facing. I believe in a 12-step philosophy, and have experience working with chronic relapse, as well as with loved ones who need intervention for their addicted family members.
The DBT group that I run was the first of it's kind in our area, and the only adolescent group in my area for several years. It has always been important to me to make high quality care available to my clients, and to be as consistent as possible in doing so. The Adolescent/Young Adult DBT Group uses a psychosocial skills training model designed to assist youth in developing coping skills for daily living. Modules include Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Skills. Call Dr Robison for a consultation.

The Trauma Recovery & Empowerment model is an evidence based practice focused on psycheducation for teenage females who have experienced any type of trauma. The model focuses on empowering youth to implement self care strategies, set healthier limits with others, and build self esteem and confidence.
