Thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. I have over 30 years experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I've worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, public schools, colleges, and non-profit organizations. It's so important, in addition to education & credentials, for the therapist you choose to be a good fit for you in personality & style. I specialize in working with teenagers & their parents to decrease conflict and increase positive communication. My goal is to help teens appropriately assert their individuality & independence, while owning their responsibilities in school and at home. Additionally, I encourage teens to see their parents as invaluable resources of wisdom, support, and encouragement.
I also work with adult individuals, couples, & families. I am comfortable & have years of experience with a variety of presenting concerns & am adept at developing a treatment plan specific to each clients' needs. Mine is not a one size fits all approach. I value the collaborative relationship, and incorporate warmth & humor into the work we do together.
