Modern life can put our nervous systems into constant overdrive but there are ways to manage it and gain peace and balance. As a therapist for 25 years I have seen grief, trauma, relationship crisis, health crisis or many other stressful events create patterns of pain for clients in relationships, physical or emotional health, perfectionism, disordered eating, repeating negative cycles in dating, chronic health symptoms, health anxiety, compulsive behavior, anxiety or feeling dissatisfied with where one is in life. I am here to help you make sense of what is happening and feel better in your body and also in relationship.
My clients seek help through grief/loss, mood/anxiety, life transitions, recovery, relationship struggles, codependence, women's/ men's issues. I help them build/re-build relationships, reframe negative beliefs and tailor self-care practices for balance and overall self-confidence. Some clients find meaning in exploring their spiritual needs or faith.
Life may seem upside down but good therapy clarifies the right path for you. The therapeutic relationship is key. You need a place you can be yourself and feel safe. I can help you delve deeply into your emotions/patterns and get unstuck. In my free time, I find joy in being physically active, nature, paddle boarding, music/singing/dance, and family time.
