Hello, grief, anxiety, unexpected life events and depression can impact our personal and work relationships. I am Sue Hennessey. I have been a psychotherapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 20 years. Talking therapy gives you the opportunity to increase your ability to manage your mental health, express your feelings, communication, listening and problem-solving skills in a caring and compassionate way. I provide clients with a respectful non-judgement environment to safely tell their story, identify their "triggers" and/or current coping strategies and develop improved coping strategies and beliefs about yourself.
I use a variety of counseling techniques such as solution focused therapy brief (SFBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused, Strengths Based, Family Systems, and interpersonal therapy. I offer evening and Saturday hours. My professional experience includes individual, couple and group practice.
Talking therapy gives you the opportunity to increase your ability to manage your mental health and solve your issues in a caring way. One of the goals for our work together will be to give you a refresher on life. We will work towards helping you re-connect with the "why" in your relationships and/or life purpose.
