About

One of the amazing aspects of therapy is that it provides a unique opportunity for people to have a space where the focus is on their needs and growth. Very few other spaces exist where your needs and well-being can be the priority. This is a key part of the healing power of therapy, which is why I believe it is so important you find a therapist who is a good fit for you. COVID-19: Telehealth sessions by secure video or phone; and In-Person sessions in Castro Valley (Th/Fri) or Hayward (Mon) (following Alameda County guidelines). (In-Network with AETNA, OPTUM & CIGNA through Alma).
I use a blended approach to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from psychodynamic (attachment, CBT, brief models, family systems and play therapy). Experience with children (6+), teens, emergiadults, seniors and Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs). Added Training: Trauma Focused-CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, grief, loss, burnout, and attachment.
As an HSP myself, I am known for my genuine, judgment-free, empathetic presence, and bring my experience, education, training and sense of humor to my work. I believe we all can benefit from support on our journeys of self-transformation. I have over 5 years of clinical experience working with kids, teens, young adults, professionals and older adults.
