About
I believe that one of the bravest things that you can do is begin to understand and take control of your life story. Though reaching out for counseling is oftentimes intimidating, it can also be the beginning of something great, in which you identify the obstacles in your life and bring yourself greater fulfillment.
My ideal client is an adolescent or young adult who is ready for a change in their life. Sometimes life feels overwhelming and we feel like no one else could possibly understand what we are going through. I will help you to communicate better with your friends and family, teach skills to stay calm and manage heightened emotions, and advocate for yourself.
I have worked with children and adolescents in school, hospital, and private settings for 4 years and am interested in helping you and your family take the next steps. I have a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach and incorporate other therapy techniques in as needed. I am also nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
