As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York, I have been providing therapy for the last 10 years. In my decade long career as a social worker I have worked in foster care, hospice care (adults and pediatrics), homeless drop in centers, HIV clinics/hospitals, and elder community centers and nursing homes, providing therapy for people of all age groups and all walks of life. With a focus on social justice and cultural relevance and nuances, all parts of you and your history will be considered and part of the healing process.
I have experience in working with clients that have experienced loss, immigration, complicated family traumas, life transitions, exploration of sexual identities, providing support to medical professionals, those with chronic illness, individuals within immigration, 2S/LGBTQAI+/QTBIPOC communities, and 65+ individuals.
In our first sessions, we will get to know each other; verbalize personal boundaries and set goals. The therapeutic space is non-judgmental, sex-positive, poly-affirming, trauma informed, and a safe space to explore feelings and thoughts. I will do my best to guide you where you want to go and to provide different perspectives with some challenges.
