About

Sustainable Wellness is a trauma-based therapy and wellness practice focused on providing a holistic approach to healing. We offer specialized mental health services for PTSD and other trauma disorders, along with trauma-informed care for communities exposed to high levels of chronic stressors. We're passionate about resolving and healing attachment wounds while striving to create a therapeutic environment based in trust and authenticity. We work closely with clients to help them feel more comfortable in their bodies and more connected to the moment in order to build self-compassion and move toward healing.
While our clinicians each have their own passions and specializations, we all treat our clients using a holistic, strengths-based, trauma-focused approach. have training in and regularly integrate modalities including CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, Schema-Focused Therapy, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and Brainspotting.
We believe that growth and healing come from exploring the root cause of an issue. We see the body as a whole system where physical and mental health are interconnected. No matter your struggle, our goal is to offer a safe space to help you build insights and learn strengths-based tools that help you to achieve sustainable wellness.

Sustainable Wellness's Groups

Advanced Adult DBT Group

This advanced virtual group is an agenda-based, topic-structured, skills integration group that encourages clients to apply their existing knowledge of DBT to current life situations, difficulties, and successes. Sessions integrate skills from all DBT modules to generate strategies for future skills use, problem solving, and effective planning. It also includes mindfulness practices and mind-body work. Participants must complete a DBT Skills Group treatment prior to attending this group, or have working knowledge of the content from a DBT skills group. Sessions include member-led discussions and a deeper look at how skills can address difficulties related to shame, abandonment, and managing loneliness.

More about this group

Sexual Violence Support Group for Young Women

Sexual violence is unfortunately prevalent in our society. This group is offered to young women who have experienced intimate relationship violence, sexual abuse, rape, or sexual assault. The group is held virtually and provides education on sexual violence as well as emotional support from others who have had similar experiences. Participants must be connected with an individual therapist to join. If you’re interested in participating in the group and don’t have a therapist, please contact us and we will do our best to connect you with a clinician at our practice.

Parenting After Trauma

This is a virtual group for parents who are recovering from trauma. As rewarding as it may be, parenting can be difficult. Nothing truly prepares you for the challenges you'll face as a parent. It's even more challenging if you're healing from your own traumas. The group reviews positive parenting skills and coping strategies to help regulate trauma reactions when communicating with your children. Our goal is to help you break unhealthy patterns that may be present in your family system and create a better future for you and your children.
