Hi, I'm Susie. I'm a clinical psychologist who has worked with clients across the lifespan; I am trained to provide therapy for anyone ages 4 and up. As a soft-spoken and non-confrontational therapist, I have found that I connect well with individuals coping with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and social difficulties. Much of my time has been spent with individuals with developmental disabilities or those who identify as neurodivergent, so I'm able to be flexible and creative in my therapeutic approaches to meet your specific needs and ways of seeing the world.
I typically approach therapy from a more client-centered or collaborative approach. I believe that each individual is the main authority of their own lives and experiences, so my goal is to work together to cope with the difficulties and stressor that arise.
I know that opening up to someone new can be difficult and scary. I'm glad you're taking this step and I hope to be able to support you in any way I can.
