Looking for a passionate and seasoned psychotherapist? For 30 years I have promoted therapeutic change with a wide array of issues/ages. I have a special interest/ intensive training/expertise in these specialty areas: Couples work, ADD/ADHD, Asperger's, Depression/Seasonal Affective Disorder, Foster/Adoption, Adolescents/Young Adults, Compulsive Eating, Parenting, Life Transitions, Employment issues. Prior to moving to California, I lived/worked in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Tucson, and Seattle, delighting in providing therapy to diverse cultural populations. Clinically grounded and savvy, as well as highly intuitive. Direct yet gentle. Helping people heal is my life passion, I delight in the individuality of each person.

Groups
When Women Stop Hating Their Bodies
I am thrilled to be offering a group to help women recover from food obsession. I am still accepting new members in this psychoeducational/coaching based therapy group. My work is based on the revolutionary books "When Women Stop Hating Their Bodies" and "Overcoming Overeating, by Carol Munter and Jane Hirschmann. I have trained with the authors/practitioners, and have led several wildly successful groups in the Pacific Northwest utilizing this highly effective and unique approach.
