Hi there, I'm Susie.
Asking for help can be difficult and scary but you are making huge progress just by being here. I enjoy working with individual, families, and couples to help you reach your goals. Together we can focus on the areas you find important. I look to empower individuals to help them understand their strengths.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and help clients understand healthy ways to communicate and understand others. I help families understand, communicate, and express their feelings in an affective way with one another. Together we can focus on your unmet needs and gaining those back for you.
When working with me, I want to make sure that you feel safe and comfortable. I want to make sure that we are discussing the areas you want to work on. I will have empathy and compassion along with my evidence based techniques.
I am a systems therapist, so that means I tend to look at all of the people within your life and how all of them have contributed into your system. I work a lot with family conflict and understanding healthy ways to communicate and understand one another in an effective manner.
