Providing child therapy and parent support in Berkeley, Ca. For over 15 years I have used my skills as a marriage and family therapist and my love of creativity to sucessfully support familes through difficult times. With just a little help kids and thier loved ones build skills, grow in in communication, navigate change such as a new sibling, divorce or death and heal from trauma. Providing talk, play, creative arts, parent support I offer a safe place to find solace and support.
In my work I use expressive arts combined with evidenced based therapeutic approaches such as Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectic and Developmental. My expressive arts training includes the use of art materials, drama, music, poetry, writing, play and all forms of creative expression to help clients engage. And yes, this can all be done online!
My practice focuses on parents, children ages 12 and below, adults and seniors. I am happy to speak with you about how therapy works. We can do a “test” run, so you can try it for yourself.
