I am a licensed master level social worker currently accepting new clients at Divergent Roads Counseling. With more than 6 years in the mental health field, I specialize in helping clients of ages 6 and up cope with a variety of challenges. I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship challenges, and grief. My extensive experience spans inpatient psychiatric care and outpatient intensive treatment settings. Utilizing a trauma-informed and client-centered approach, I aim to empower individuals to navigate and heal from past challenges, fostering their journey towards overall well-being.
In my client-centered approach, I integrate modalities like positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT informed, person-centered theory, and family systems to collaboratively work towards achieving your therapeutic goals. With my youngest clients I utilize play-informed theories and social emotional learning techniques.
