Hi there! I’m Susana. My passion for mental health work comes from my own experiences trying to reclaim my identity while navigating life’s obstacles. Our life experiences, culture, background, and relationship with ourselves and our mental health are incredibly unique and personal. This is why I enjoy getting to know my clients and finding an approach that works best for their needs rather than sticking to a “one size fits all” approach.
I combine traditional therapeutic models like CBT, DBT, and IFS with holistic, mindfulness based and collaborative approaches. I have experience working with pregnancy and postpartum transitions, couples, multicultural/first generation experiences, women’s issues, ADHD, trauma, self-esteem/perfectionism, and take a special interest in railroad families.
