Now Accepting New Clients - "My approach is sensitive and honest". I often feel privileged to be a counselor and I appreciate the difficulty most of us have asking for help even when we need it the most. I believe that we often feel "stuck" in our lives because we lack balance, clarity and serenity; all of which are hard to find in today's world. Most of us have what we need inside of us to transcend our experiences, however, a good therapist can assist us in getting where we want to be more quickly and safely. I have engaged in CBT, DBT and experiential modalities throughout my 25 plus year career.
My specialties include working with: Eating Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Relationship Challenges, Women's Issues, Co-Dependency and Parenting Teens. I use a strengths-based approach as a way of joining with clients while creating a safe and supportive environment. A healthy therapeutic relationship can change the way you relate to others and yourself.
I enjoy working with women, athletes, young adults, couples and motivated clients of all ages. We are often struggling with the challenges that life transitions present and what these changes mean to us and our future well-being. Often times what we need is guidance or a helping hand at these times and a skilled therapist can be that for many of us.
