Thank you for visiting my profile. I have been a social worker for nearly 35 years, practicing in Florida for the last 25 years. I have worked extensively in medical settings, including hospitals and clinics, and my practice has been largely focused upon assisting families with young children as well as expectant parents. I am very familiar with and I try to educate my clients on positive parenting techniques. I diligently work with those that I serve to promote their emotional well-being, recognizing the strong connection between positive physical and mental health.
I have also worked extensively with patients who are chronically and terminally ill. I assist these patients and their families with coping with difficult life transitions, and supporting individuals and families who are encountering issues of loss and grief.
I am originally from Rochester, New York. I have received two bachelor's degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo in psychology and linguistics. I subsequently attended the University of Maryland, where I have received a Master's Degree in Social Work.
