I enjoy working with people seeking counseling for symptoms of anxiety and/or depression, relational issues, or the stressors of every day life. I also work with children, teens and their parents to improve communication and decrease problematic behaviors. Many clients feel comfortable sharing with me and find it helpful in sorting through their situations and thoughts. With over 20 years experience, I have assisted many individuals & families in decreasing their symptoms, improving their overall life satisfaction and strengthening their relationships. Numerous referrals come from these satisfied clients or their physicians.
As a Registered Play Therapist I have completed advanced specialty training & supervision which uniquely qualifies me to work with your child in teaching appropriate skills to manage their emotions & behavior. I am also experienced in providing Trauma Informed Care, the goal being not to further traumatize those with a history of trauma.
It is very rewarding to see individuals and families demonstrate improved coping and communication skills which lead to happier and less stressful lives.
