I have experience working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, grief/loss, past trauma, and other significant life events. I use EMDR therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques to help my clients develop positive and healthy coping skills. I work to empower my clients, assist them in the self-awareness process, to relieve distress and find solutions in their daily lives. I offer a positive, non-judgmental and realistic approach to the counseling process. I am currently accepting new clients and would like to work with you.
My professional experience includes working in acute care inpatient hospital setting treating both adolescents and adults. Facilitating outpatient group therapy teaching CBT and DBT skills to adults. And several years experience working in a private practice setting providing therapy for individuals.
I am trained in EMDR therapy used to help individuals heal from symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences or traumas. I am a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. I am passionate about helping individuals complete the relationship to pain and isolation caused by significant emotional loss of any kind.
