I foster a warm, connected therapeutic environment in order for us to do important work together. I will be non-judgmental, empathetic, humorous and tough-loving, and I'll ask you to be courageous, vulnerable and curious about your thoughts and behaviors. We will create insights, change habits, confront fears and self-defeating choices, and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. You get to decide what to explore and how quickly or slowly you want to make changes towards the most authentic version of yourself. You can utilize talk therapy, craft therapy, and nature therapy.
I work with teenagers, young adults, adults, families, and couples. My specialities include anxiety, healthy and unhealthy relationships, sexual health, sexual assault survivors, teen issues, parenting, divorce, LGBTQIA+ identity, ADHD, impulsivity, internet/porn/sex addiction, children of alcoholics/addicts and interpersonal and social skill development.
I also offer small groups for teenagers, combining individual therapy with craft therapy. We use hand crafting as a way to access emotions, build competence and reduce stress.
