Susan T Lindau, MSW, LCSW, MFA, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Los Angeles
Angry, frustrated and sad? I have been working with individuals who are depressed for over 20 years. I am intensively trained in DBT and provide comprehensive DBT treatment as well as Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. Let's explore the tools I can offer to help you travel your path to feel positive and reach the goals you seek. Together we can design a plan that meets your needs.
I treat individuals experiencing symptoms of borderline personality disorder using the tools of DBT. Additionally, I am trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to manage severe, recurrent depression. The concepts of Mind Body Medicine are key elements of my practice.
Caring for emotional pain requires an awareness of both the psychic and physical body. I focus on mindful awareness as well as simple, gentle yoga to support my clients in their growth. To effectively own our lives, we must always remember that our entire self, physical and psychic requires care.
