Hi, I'm Susan – Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Neuropsychotherapist. I equip driven women to achieve more without burning out. They struggle with work/life balance, high levels of stress, perfectionism, self-doubt, and performance mentality. They feel the pressure of running a home, managing schedules, and having a social life. Personal experience with anxiety and depression drives me to do my best to give women the tools I did not have in my struggles. Clients often tell me that they feel more peaceful when talking with me. I honor all my clients and support them without judgment, using evidence-based modalities.
Since 2014, I have helped hundreds of clients thrive with solution-focused tools. My approach to therapy depends on the client's needs, which we discuss in our first session. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing, breath work, mindfulness, and neuroscience techniques.
I believe therapy is collaborative. You can expect to explore what brought you to therapy, and what you want to accomplish during our time together. I'll ask questions to better understand the situation, your feelings, your thoughts, and what you want to be different in your life.
