Hi, I'm Susan Spissman. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2014, but knew I wanted to be a counselor since the age of ten. I've helped hundreds of clients thrive in life and business with solution-focused tools, and I am committed to equipping you to do the same. My approach is geared towards high-achieving individuals who are driven to succeed. They often struggle with burnout, work/life balance, high levels of stress/anxiety, perfectionism, fear of failure, self-doubt, and performance mentality.
This can be further complicated by their Christian upbringing, and not knowing how to reconcile success with spirituality.
My approach to therapy depends on the client's needs. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, coaching, breath work, mindfulness, neurological techniques, and multiple other evidence-based modalities. I am open to counseling from the Christian perspective, as well as other perspectives.
