I've engaged in counseling many times over the years as I dealt with the effects of childhood trauma, divorce, single parenting and life in general. Each time I gained a deeper understanding of how my life experiences shaped how I interact with the world. I dropped what no longer served me came home to my authentic self—which includes the part of me devoted to supporting others. If you’re here, you’re ready to begin your own path toward healing. Rooted in Internal Family Systems, we gently explore your vulnerable parts, as well as the parts created to protect them—illustrated well in the movie Inside Out. Using a sensorimotor approach, we explore how your past experiences continue to live in your body and be expressed in your behaviors today. Integrating DBT skills we begin to regulate your system.
