About
Everyone knows relationships take work. But what does that really mean? We'll take a look at things like: How do both of us feel in our relationship? Do we deeply understand each other's thoughts, feelings, and needs? How are we communicating those? I have been married over 30 years and have three grown children. I understand the challenges couples must navigate and how couples can get stuck in negative cycles. My approach includes helping couples recognize and change the patterns that keep you stuck and help you reach out to each other in ways that bring you closer.
My passion is to build stronger relationships. Additionally, I have over 15 years experience working with university students with various disabilities assisting individuals with academic accommodations and developing coping strategies. I have provided emotional support to people in crisis due to difficulties with social/emotional, career/academic, or cultural adjustment.
As an Emotionally Focused Couple Therapist, my approach includes developing a caring, trusting and honest partnership with you. I help you break free of negative patterns causing disconnection, hurt and relational distress to find deep, lasting love and healing. I also help individuals uncover strengths and gifts to solve challenges.
