The decision to start therapy is personal and courageous and not always easy. Everyone goes through times when they feel more stressed out, angry, anxious or depressed. My intention is to help you identify the goals you want to work on and to help you understand what is getting in the way of achieving them. I ultimately want to give you a new perspective and look at your underlying belief systems and the repetitive patterns that have been keeping you stuck. EMDR can be very helpful in getting unstuck.
My style is warm, interactive and collaborative and it consists of many elements. I combine my background as a licensed clinical social worker with psychodynamic psychotherapy, Buddhist philosophy, body psychotherapy. EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, Core Energetics and AEDP work (which works with undoing aloneness).
