I work with people who find themselves in hard places—whether from past trauma, current stressors, or patterns that feel hard to change. My background includes 15 years with Child Protective Services before transitioning into psychotherapy in 2015. I work in private practice with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with special experience supporting first responders, veterans, and survivors of sexual trauma.
My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that every person has worth and is doing the best they can with the tools they have.
I draw from CBT-informed strategies, neuroscience, attachment-based approaches, EMDR, TBRI, COS, TRE, and IFS-informed work. My goal is to plant seeds of hope and empower clients with both insight and practical tools for lasting change. While diagnoses can sometimes be useful, I focus less on labels and more on understanding the root causes of distress.
While I provide a safe, supportive space, I also believe therapy should be a place to learn. I want clients to leave not only feeling heard but also with new insight and tools for daily life and healthy relationships. Knowledge is power, and my role is to help you understand how your brain, body, and emotions connect so you feel equipped to move forward.
