I believe that the therapeutic process is a valuable vehicle for positive change in a client's life. I help children, adolescents and adults find relief from depression, anxiety, and anger and develop coping skills to deal with the many stressors that life presents.
I am a licensed professional counselor and a certified school psychologist with over 15 years experience working with children and adults. I work with various individuals helping them to gain healthy coping skills and develop better problem solving skills.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a critical component of the therapeutic process. I also employ techniques from CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness to help clients gain a better understanding of the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and to gain insight regarding their emotions and begin to make positive changes.
