For more than forty years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults addressing a variety of psychological issues. My practice consists of individual and family therapy, employing a cognitive-behavioral and family systems approach. I work to assist you in developing and maximizing your strengths so that you can cope with emotional stress as effectively as possible.
In our daily lives, there are some stresses we can control or eliminate, and other stresses that we can't. However, how we respond to stress can make a big difference in how well we function from day to day. We work together to develop and maximize your coping skills.
In addition to a general practice, I have had extensive experience in health psychology, working with people of all ages suffering from acute and chronic diseases, pain, and physical disability. I offer stress and pain management training structured to meet your individual needs and improve the quality of your life.
