There are many reasons and circumstances that move us toward seeking out therapy, but taking that first step toward healing, for most clients, can be uncertain and often anxiety provoking. From the first meeting, I strive to create a genuinely warm and collaborative space to begin building a therapeutic relationship based on feelings of safety and a sense of trust. I feel it is a unique privilege, as a therapist, to assist those struggling with emotional, physical and/or spiritual difficulties and am committed to providing individualized treatment to each client.
I have a relational/interpersonal therapeutic approach and utilize cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques. Areas of treatment include depression, anxiety, PTSD and childhood trauma; addictions/recovery and LGBTQ issues.
