I am proactive and motivational in my approach and create an atmosphere of empathy and support. I believe in empowering my clients to develop the coping skills, self-esteem and self-understanding necessary to create lasting positive change. I feel it is important to understand ones past and its impact on ones behavior patterns and attitudes, in order to create change necessary for a happier, more fulfilling life. I have a wide variety of experience , having worked in substance abuse and eating disorders programs, and in several hospitals settings. Many of my clients have communication or money problems with a significant other.
I am also a Certified Coach. I have worked extensively with stress management, a speciality. Also, with anxiety and depression. I do extensive couples therapy and will be very proactive in helping you with all of these issues! I am very knowledgeable about blended families, having grown up in one. I am excellent at problem solving and at self esteem issues.
