My specialty areas include the treatment of anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, adoption, behavior problems and school-related issues. I consult with parents about school referral/evaluation process.
It is very important that the children with whom I work are comfortable with me. During our time together, my clients and I develop a relationship of mutual trust and respect. I provide acceptance and support for the client so that they can comfortably and confidently move forward on their journey toward positive change.
My experience with a wide variety of children in a number of settings has given me insight into the complex world of today's child. As the parent of two adult children & a grandparent, I also understand the daily challenges of parenthood. Therefore, I help parents develop stronger relationships with their children trough Child Parent Relationship Training.
