As a certified EMDR & Grief Recovery therapist, I offer a warm, caring & relaxed environment to address all areas of trauma, stress, depression, loss & grief as we work together to reach your goals, diminish your discomforts & improve your relationships. I've been in practice for over 25 years, first as a pastoral counselor & then as a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist under the tutelage & wisdom of a clinical psychologist. Through his mentoring, along with my various trainings, I've developed an eclectic approach to personalize my counseling specifically to your needs.
I enjoy the fascination & relief that is offered by EMDR therapy as it works its wonders. Trauma, anxiety, depression, grief & loss & many other issues that continue to affect our lives in unexpected & troublesome ways are effectively treated using this type of therapy.
As a breast cancer survivor, I offer a hopeful & compassionate perspective on the challenging & frightening journey through treatment to health. Additionally, I've raised two sets of twin boys, so I am well aware of the fears & joys of parenthood & of the trials & tribulations that accompany this phase of life.
