What may feel overwhelming today often began as wise adaptations to survive. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and grounded in nervous system awareness and compassionate curiosity. I work with adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, PTSD and CPTSD, betrayal, relationship distress, divorce, addiction, grief, anxiety, depression, shame, sexuality, and spiritual harm/abuse. It would be an honor to walk with you toward healing, wholeness and integration.
I received my Bachelor of Social Work with a concentration in family studies from James Madison University and my Masters of Social Work from North Carolina State University with additional certification in addictions. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings with children, teens, and adults.
I seek to create a safe space where my clients can honor their own stories and make the connections that lead to new skills and behaviors, resulting in a more balanced and fulfilling life. I enjoy spending time with my children, cooking and going on long walks with my sheltie who would love to meet you in the office! I look forward to working together.
